Lying in Nassau County, Florida, it is 13 miles long and approximately 4 miles wide at its widest point. The communities of Fernandina Beach, Amelia City, and American Beach are located on the island.

Golfside at Summer Beach HOA consists of 223 properties in two communities, Golfside South and Golfside North, which are adjacent to the Ritz Carlton and surrounded by the Golf Club of Amelia Island. Our private gated pool & parking are steps away from Peters Point Beachfront Park.

We are 5 miles from the charming downtown Historic District of Fernandina Beach that has beautiful shops, art galleries, a wide range of delicious restaurants, quaint playhouse theaters, museums, Marlin & Barrel distillery, and several local breweries.  If you take First Coast Highway south to Heckscher Drive, we are 20 miles away from Jacksonville. JAX Airport is about 40 minutes away and Amelia Island is the 1^st exit on I-95 south of the Georgia border.

Our Board of Directors are all volunteers and owners that reside in Golfside. They provide governance to enhance the value of our community, effectively managing our financial resources to maintain an attractive community, and promote a warm caring neighborhood feel.
